Helping Charities to be Well-Managed to Deliver Their Charitable Objectives

Charities are not businesses - they should be focussed on their charitable objectives. But to do this, they do need to managed in a businesslike manner, both to be wholly effective, and to ensure that they - and their Trustees - don't fall foul of increasingly rigorous regulation.

Banham Graham's Charities Service exists to provide across the board support to charities to help them ensure they are well-managed, financially sound and running at maximum efficiency - with the ultimate aim of leaving them able to focus on delivering their charitable activities to the best effect.

As independent members of hcwa, with associated firms throughout the UK, we have regular access to Greyham Dawes, a Director of the Charities Unit at Horwath Clark Whitehill, one of the UK's leading specialists on charity finance. Greyham co-edited 'A Practical Guide to the Charities SORP', the leading reference book for the profession.

We use specialist charity computer software to ensure that the Trustees' Report and financial statements comply with the latest accounting legislative requirements.
