A former Managing Partner, David retired as a Partner of Banham Graham in July 2009, and has taken on a new role as a consultant, supporting the firm's growth, as well as continuing to service clients, and head up our Charities service.
He has considerable experience both as Auditor and Trustee. He is able to advise Trustees on good governance and compliance with the Charities Acts. David has recently been awarded a special Charity Diploma by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in recognition of his experience in the sector.
He is currently a Trustee and Chair of Finance for The Great Hospital, Bishopgate, Norwich. He was a Governor of City College, Norwich from 1995 to 2005, and was both Chair of the Audit Committee and subsequently Chair of Finance during that period. He was also a member of Ranworth PCC from 2004 to 2007. David's experience with charities stretches back to the 1980s when he helped to set up Radio Norfolk's Helpline.
David is married to Doreen and has three adult daughters, two of whom live in Norfolk. His hobbies are tennis, sport (including the Canaries), music, malt whisky - and of course wining and dining.
